Portion Control Diet

The Portion Control Diet is basically controlling the portion sizes of the foods you eat. You can essentially eat anything you want but in smaller quantities. I mean, you still want to eat mainly lean meats, healthy fruits, and vegetables, but if you want to indulge in that decadent dessert, you can.  When you have that bowl of ice cream, though, don't get that big bowl and take half the carton. Instead, take just a spoonful and stop. The best food options are to cook at home, but when you have to grab something quick when you are out, don't get the double hamburger, jumbo fries, and drink. Order a small hamburger, small fries, and a small drink.  I have actually seen more people have success with this diet than with any other diet. Controlling your portion sizes helps you to reinforce a change in your eating habits for more long-term success. Below are some videos to help you learn more.
